infographic layout
This was my original idea for a layout for the infographic on how to build a wine barrel taiko drum. The hibiscus icons come from the design/color of the 'happi coats' Zenshin Daiko wears when performing. The main graphic of a taiko amidst production. I split the process stages up into the most reasonable categories, beginning with a short introduction of the group.

infographic preliminary research: building taiko drums
In 2003, Stanford Taiko came to Maui and learned from the group I was a part of, Zenshin Daiko, how to construct basic chu-daiko's. And this, is the manual they created from their experience:

My good friend's father makes taiko, this is his website:

But the taiko community uses a video Stanford made of ZD making drums as the standard for making this type of taiko now. I have primary resources including my dad and uncle who are the one's who began making the drums this way. I have also helped in constructing them.
